~I hate confrontation. I don't stay mad or hold a grudge just because I can't stand to let things blow over or work themselves out, I did things fixed right away.
~I have to park in the same isle every time I go to Wal-mart other wise my groove is thrown off.

Girl's Game Night

We had such a blast at our monthly game night. I can't Believe how crazy eberyone got!

We played MAFIA which is a Jr. High game sort of like murder in the dark, very fun, Laura was the murderer and had us all fooled. We also played BUNCO. For those of you who've ever played... it's nothing like what you're used to. With slight vareiations of rules rotating around, it gets pretty crazy, especailly with five tables and anyone can call out "bunco"! Kate won for the high score and must buncos, you can check out her victory dance, below.

With all of the embarrassing moments that were shared, I think everyone would agree that we went from being just "girls we know from church," to being close friends. I don't think I've ever heard poeple laugh that hard. After some of the stories we heard who could blame us. But we had good use of our "controls", didn't worry about "two-footers" and figured, what the hay, everyone enjoys a good "sunday romp." It's so fun to get silly with the girls!! I can't wait until next month!

I Spoke Too Soon!

Well at least we lasted most of the day!

I knew I was pressing my luck. I shouldn't have posted anything about not having tantrums, until Xander was in bed for the night! In case your seeing these pictures and wondering about the safety of the Simpson children, before you call child services, you might want to take a look at the post below for an explaination. (On second thought, why don't you go ahead and call them, I hear jail can be pretty quiet and someone else cooks the food).

We've had a Break Through!

Today is the first day, in as long as I can remember that we've had NO TANTRUMS from Xander! There are some days that I get less than 2 hrs total, out of the whole day that he is not having a fit. Many of you Know that when Xan has a tantrum, he is out of control, to say the least. He has a high pitched, ear piercing scream, that sends the whole family to the breaking point. He can also be viloent, usually to himself, punching himself or the worst part is that when hits his forehead on the floor until his nose bleeds. I have gotten advice from many people but nothing seems to really work. The Pediatrician says to ignore it (but how can I do that if he's going to be bleeding on the carpet, tell me that). Others have said he dose it for attention, but I think that is unlikely, since the tantrums seem to come from nowhere, and start when he's playing with me or the kids. As bad as theses "terrible twos" can be, today we are getting to see what a fun boy he can be, even when he's not getting his way. (knock on wood!)

Taren's Birthday Lunch

Yesterday a group of gals from the ward went out to lunch to celebrate Taren Morris' Birthday. It was a little Mexican Place and as you can see almost everyone brought little person with them, and that made it a bit more interesting!

They brought out an enormous sombrero for Taren and and played the guitar while everyone sang to her. Too bad you can't tell from the picture that the candles kept sparking back up! It was pretty funny, after ablout 10 minutes of Taren blowing at the candles, Shawna finally siad "Are those trick candles?"

We're finally joining the band wagon!

Well, Here we are...Ashley finally convinced me to start a blog. My biggest fear is that I will get so sucked into updating it, that I will fall behind on my homework and Tom will ground me! Hopefully I have enough interesting things to say to keep you coming back.
